Case number: NY 05/ 01/90/7897
Incident: Drama
Reporting Office: Constable Milady Lewis Date of report: 24 April 2008
At about 1040 hours, Junior year February 16, 2007, I met with Rita Baker at Solvay High School regarding a minor discrepancy. Ms.Baker said she was walking down the hallway after sixth period with tension in the air as she felt. Explained. Was bum rushed by a young lady by the name of Jessica Elder. In that instant, Ms.Baker explained that she was flabbergasted and used her reflexes and struck Ms. Elder.
Ms. Baker described the instant as fast and not understandable. Had no idea why the fight had came about.
Ms. Baker told me that her and Ms. Elder had issues in the past however couldn’t understand why Ms. Elder and her friends “jumped” Ms. Baker. Come to find 'he say she say' came about so Ms. Elder decides to have her friends and her self jump Ms. Baker to get back at her.
I conducted a survey of the instant, however Ms. Elder wouldn’t testify. I saw strains of hair and blood on the floor. There were no items to retrieve so I presumed with photographs.
I obtained a sworn statement from Ms. Baker and provided her with the case number and information. I entered the instantas insult filed by Ms. Elder, which wouldn’t and didn’t stand in court. Pursuing in Ms. Baker getting expelled from Solvay High School due to the evidence stated at the crime scene.

Spring Break
I Wake up early, rollover in bed, and realize I have to get readyfor practice. My mom comes by my room while she is getting ready for work and tells me to get out of bed, don’t be late for practice. Slowly and steadily inch my self out of bed and into the bathroom to do what I have to do.
When 6:30am comes along my friend Justin calls me “Are you leaving yet” I say “yea I’m ‘bout to leave in a minute” I say. I start to put my equipment on before I leave because the school won’t be open until after practice.
I grab my lacrosse bag and sticks and make sure I have everything before I leave my house. I toss all my stuff in my car and start it up. I head to Justin’s house to pick him up for practice. Its 6:38 as I sit in front of his house waiting for him to come out, thinking to my self that he needs to hurry up before we’re late for practice. “We can’t be late for practice” I say when he gets in the car. “Well then leave earlier” he says.
We zoom off to the back of the school where we have to be on the bridge at 6:45 and then be up top on the turf stretching by 7:00. We arrived exactly at 6:45 and then everyone began to line up on the bridge in two lines. Right before we go up, there’s a car coming down the road and its one of our teammates. Coach says that we can’t go up without everyone in line.
Then another teammate arrives at 7:00, the team starts yelling for them to hurry up and get in line. Everyone was in line and ready to go up at 7:02, which meant that we were running 100’s before practice.
We reach the field and begin doing our stretches and then made two lines in the corner of the field to start doing our 100’s. Right after we run we start doing our drills. We got through a couple drills, and then everyone started messing around and not concentrating on what we had to do.
During one of the breakouts someone didn’t run, and the coach was already mad because we were late coming up, also the next day we had a game. Coach is always tougher on us the day before the game.
So coach told us to get on the hill, then we knew we were in trouble .We did sprints up the hill. Then coach put a twist on it and made us run up the hill backwards which was the hardest part of practice. After the hill, we finished up with practice and got into two lines again and walked it down to the locker room. Then everyone went home.
The next day at our game we were tied up with one of the best teams in our league. In the last quarter of the game they scored two goals and won the game.

“OK, walk it off little bro, come back out to the party, and have another drink,” Ang told me.
“Alright”

“No, Ang said walk it off and have another drink”.
“No lets go”. Then my close friend n sister Joni said F**k you Wayne he can stay and party”.
“No he can't, he threw up”.
Joni looked at me n saw I looked like sh!t and said “you should go hun you can come over anytime and we can party”.
Next thing I know I’m at Tony’s house and he's asking if had a little too much to drink. I did throw up my first time. I held my liquor. You should try to do it. Lay down and you should be all right.
The next morning I get up off Tony’s couch. My head is aching and I leave there to walk to my house down the street to get ready for work. Head still pounding believe it’s a hangover. Working going good except for one thing wrapping a Whopper in a Whopper jr. wrap. It wouldn’t happen if I were not hung over. No one knew I was hung over except my friends at the party. After this experience I have not throw up again from drinking.

Dance Competition
It was March 10th, a week before competition. We sat in Ms. Gourdine’s classroom stressing because in five days we were going to have to do a perfect performance in order to win our competition. Ms. Gourdine tells us to get off our butts and start dancing we don’t have time to sit. We got up and started dancing. As I dance, I got frustrated because I could not get a move right. F**l I said, as I kept messing up. Instead of my teammates helping me, they just laughed and made smart comments. I just ignored them and kept pushing and pushing to get the move right and show them that I got it and show them that they are laughing for no reason. I got the move and the laughing stopped, after practice I asked Kenny what colors do ya’ll want me to wear, because Jecoura and I have set our mind on an outfit that was going to be orange and grey. The team had liked them at first, but then they had acted different and changed their minds about it. We couldn’t decide and competition was creeping near. The morning of the competition was kind of weird. I didn’t care anything about it because I was upset with my team. All of the boys and girls on the team met up at the mall. We went against all odds to try to find an outfit. We came across some hoodies, and at first I didn’t like them, but everybody else on the team liked them so we got them. The hoodies seemed like they were meant for us to get because there were only five hoodies and there were only five boys on the team. After we got our outfits, we went to Ms. Gourdine’s house so we could practice before our competition. Ms. Gourdine turned on the music and we started to dance. She had told us to go outside and practice, we all fussed because it was cold outside. I didn’t want to get sick. We practiced for many hours, and then we had to go get ready for the competition. My friend Jecoura dropped me off at home so I could get changed. After I got changed I met my team down at the Oncenter. There were many teams there. We danced and did our thing, and everybody wanted us to win. When the judges announced that we got second place we were very upset because we knew that we should have gotten first. We knew that because the judges had cheated and we danced our hardest and did our best. Everyone knew that we should have won and they told us what we were the best. After the fact, as long as we got in a place, we were alright.

“Turf Wars”
Blood, Sweat, Tears
80-degree weather on a hot windless day
We are warriors for our love of the sport
Fighting everyday just to survive
Because for some it's all we have
Everyday for 10 weeks straight we invest our time just
so we can perfect our game
The First 2 weeks I call them “hell weeks”, “Filter weeks”
To filter out the scrubs, the ones who don't really want to be there
And the ones that bust their ass will secure a spot
Hell week, the name says it all
One week were both the head coach and the goalie coach
Pushes you harder than you have ever been pushed
Running miles everyday
During both sessions
2 a days one at 8 in the morning sharp and 11:30 in the morning, both 2 hours long
We prepare for battle every time we put on our jerseys
Because we are fighting for survival in the standings
For 80 minutes, we are the soldiers on the turf
“My love”
My love for soccer runs deeper than the Grand Canyon. Whenever I lace up my cleats and put on my guards I get this over whelming feeling that is hard to describe and that I always forget things that are negative in my life and just focus on soccer. That's why I love it so much. I live, breathe, eat, and dream soccer all the time.
“The worst day of my life”
Coming into my senior year in high school I was so excited about the up coming season to start. The previous year I was on the varsity squad but I did not start. I told myself that I would bust my butt so I could get a starting position. The first day of tryouts was very unorganized. We had the biggest turnout in years, more than 50 kids. Usually we get about 30 kids a year. Most of the kids didn't get their physicals done so in order to even practice we had to get our physicals, thankfully the nurse was there the same day. Well the first session went like always did for me, 6laps or a mile and a half on the track then simple drills. The second session was the same; it's always the easiest on the first day. The second day was the first day we had to do a “big run”. Its us running up and down hills about three times, if you were not in shape then it would definitely show. I was not in shape so I was one of the last ones done. It took so long for me to get done that the ones that were done had their little 5-minute break and came back. I didn't get my break so I was tired going into the next drill. The coach pulled me over and just told me that if I slack off again that I would be off the team, he said that he didn't want to but if he has to he will. I was one of the important members of the team because of my quick acceleration and speed. The second session was my last one. During one of our drills I was injured trying to keep the ball in play and banged up my knee really badly to the point where I had to sit out for the rest of the day. I was limping home and just in pain. The next day I got up but my knee was still sore and I didn't want to go to practice not 100% so I decided to stay home. The next morning I was still sore but I had missed enough practice so I went to practice. It took me so long to get there because I was so sore by the time I arrived I was around 5 minutes late. The coach saw me and didn't say anything. I asked him how many laps does he want me to do and he just said that I was done. I had never been kicked off of anything so I took it badly, but know im not mad at him.

This picture signifies one of the greatest days of my life. It was junior year at Corcoran High School and I decided to join the dance team. At first, I did not like it that much, but after a while I began to fall in love with dancing, especially on stage and at competitions. There were only a few members, about ten. But when we performed, our audience was astonished. We had begun to compete locally and were winning every competition. So very soon we qualified for the regionals. That year the regionals were taking place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I wasn’t too excited to go at first. When you first hear Milwaukee, you’re not thinking about the possibility of having fun, but that’s exactly what happened. When we first arrived I was stunned to see the hotel we were staying in. It was gorgeous. There was a Jacuzzi and a pool, and the rooms were really nice too. The next morning after we arrived, we went site seeing. We toured the whole town for a little while before we had to go practice for the competition that afternoon. When we got there, the first thing we noticed was the numerous dance teams warming up in the back of the lobby. We saw everything from break dancing to krumping. It was crazy. Here we are about to perform our little routine that was all the rave back home. But now standing amongst the best of the best I was scared. I had never gotten stage fright before but that day I did. The rest of my team must have gotten it too, because there was total silence. Me and my team went backstage to get changed for our performance. The competition organizer came back stage and announced the next order of performances and began collecting all the dance team’s music. My team was next. Our team captain said a little prayer before we went onstage, and that was it. It was show time. We went onstage, the music dropped, and we did our thing. The audience was so hype. My team did great. They couldn’t stop applauding when we left the stage. The performances went on for about a half an hour or so. There was a gruesomely long intermission with snacks. Then, afterwards there was the awards ceremony. I knew we did good, but was it enough? The coordinator announced the first three finalists, then the top five. To my disbelief my team wasn’t in either. Afterwards we went out to dinner at this boat-like restaurant. We were a little upset, but happy we made it that far. We took this picture on our way out of the restaurant. We had the best time ever! -Jessica Cawley
